Parab Operator Position This position uses a wired parabolic microphone dish to capture the general sounds on a field of play. The operator moves along the sideline or endline, typically following the action by pointing the mic toward the action. The operator for this position should be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time. This position may be exposed to the weather. The operator will need to have a general understanding of the sport being covered.
