Driller Assistant /Laborer Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour; $52,000 - $62,000 per year Join a growing environmental field services company and build a long-term career. Vista GeoScience is seeking hardworking individuals who enjoy working outdoors, traveling to project sites, operating equipment, and learning new skills. No drilling experience is required for motivated candidates. The Driller Assistant/Laborer will work directly with experienced drillers and field personnel while gaining hands-on experience with drilling equipment, site investigation activities, and remediation projects. We provide training, advancement opportunities, overtime, retirement options, per diem for travel, and a pathway to become a licensed driller and CDL driver. Why Join Vista GeoScience? Training Environmental and Geotechnical Drilling Techniques Remediation Support and Injection Operations Commercial Driver Training Drilling Licenses and Industry Certifications Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver license and acceptable driving record Ability to pass drug screening, background check, and medical physical Ability to safely lift up to 94 pounds Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Construction, labor, drilling, utility locating, or environmental field experience CDL or ability to obtain CDL Mechanical, fabrication, or welding skills OSHA 40-HourHAZWOPER
