Job Description
Well Driller Seeking a full-time experienced Rotary Water Well Driller Well Driller Duties and Responsibilities Operates water well drilling rigs and other equipment to drill, bore, and dig for residential and light commercial water wells Document and maintain Well Completion Reports and Drill Out Logs Provides other drilling services, such as repair or dismantling of the existing water well structure Installs, tests, maintains, and repairs water well pumps, piping systems, and equipment Setup and operate portable drilling rig with proper stabilization and setbacks from electrical hazards Responsible for notifying supervisor of any potential safety or equipment issue, immediately Responsible for wearing appropriate safety/protective clothing/gear Other duties as assigned Well Driller Requirements and Qualifications Knows state codes on how to construct wells, including isolation distances and grouting requirements Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background/driving check is required Ability to sit, climb, squat, bend or stand for an extended period of time. In addition, ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Ability to work in a team setting Ability to communicate and report effectively Good physical condition and stamina Compensation Based on experience
