We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced CDL Driver with a strong construction background. Candidates with directional drilling, horizontal boring, or underground utility experience are highly preferred. Position Summary The CDL Driver / Directional Drill Operator will be responsible for safely transporting equipment and materials to job sites while supporting underground utility construction operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and willing to work as part of a field crew. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles requiring a CDL. Transport construction equipment, materials, and crews to job sites. Assist with directional drilling and horizontal boring operations. Support underground utility installation projects. Conduct daily vehicle and equipment inspections. Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety standards. Assist with locating, potholing, and job site preparation. Perform general construction labor duties as needed. Maintain a clean and professional appearance on job sites. Required Qualifications Valid CDL (Class A preferred). Clean driving record. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to travel to project locations as needed. Preferred Qualifications Directional drilling experience. Horizontal boring experience. Underground utility construction experience. Experience installing fiber optic, telecommunications, water, sewer, or gas utilities. Experience operating construction equipment such as excavators, skid steers, or loaders.
