Underground Directional Driller - Multiple Markets in the Southeast Company Overview We are a leading underground utility contractor specializing in directional drilling and missile boring operations. Our crews take pride in safe, efficient, and high-quality work. With multiple active markets across the Southeast and 100s of miles of projects to complete, we are rapidly expanding and seeking motivated talent to grow with us. We are currently seeking an experienced Underground Directional Driller to join our team. This role requires a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is safety-focused, and is willing to travel extensively. Key Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate directional drilling equipment to achieve high daily production volumes. Perform daily equipment maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance. Maintain a clean and organized job site each day. Operate safely at all times, following company and industry standards. Assist with manual labor when required, including shoveling and ground work. Provide guidance and training to new employees as they are hired. Travel extensively to project sites, often requiring extended periods away from home. Requirements Proven experience as an Underground Directional Driller. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to maintain equipment. Willingness to perform physical labor and work in outdoor environments. Safety-first mindset with knowledge of OSHA and industry safety standards. Ability to travel extensively and stay on projects for extended periods. Leadership skills and willingness to mentor/train new team members. Preferred Qualifications CDL license is a plus. Experience working with underground utilities (fiber, gas, power, water). Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
