We pride ourselves on precision, innovation, and client trust. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SUE Technician to join our growing Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) team. This is an entry-level opportunity with strong growth potential for individuals interested in utility investigation, infrastructure, and construction support services. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, eager to learn, and comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced field environment. Preferred Requirements:
Some utility designation or subsurface utility locating experience (preferred but not required) Experience in construction, surveying, civil engineering support, or underground utilities is a plus Ability to read construction drawings is helpful Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
What You'll Do:
Assist with utility designation using electromagnetic locating equipment Support vacuum excavation operations (air and/or hydro excavation) Mark utilities according to ASCE 38 standards Collect and document field data accurately Maintain equipment and vehicles Follow all safety procedures and company standards Communicate clearly with crew members, project managers, and clients
Requirements:
Clean background Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening Ability to travel out of town and stay overnight as needed High school diploma or equivalent.
