Geotechnical Driller STV, Inc. dental insurance, life insurance, vision insurance, parental leave, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) United States, Kentucky, Glasgow Sep 16, 2026 STV is looking for a Full-Time Geotechnical Driller out of our Glasgow, KY location. Responsibilities and Duties Performroutine tasks in support of drilling operations for geotechnical investigations, including soil testing and borings for various project types.

AssistDriller with drilling tasks associated with execution of geotechnical investigations, including setting up and operating drilling equipment, transporting materials and recording information from the job site.

Limited operation of dozer to achieve access for drilling equipment. (Training provided)

Assist withroutine maintenance on drilling equipment. Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma or equivalent

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and written to complete daily field reports and boring logs. Basic math is required for depths of borings and volume calculations.

Ability to drive non-automatic truck is required.

Ability to pull trailers in varying length up to 16 feet

Ability to lift 50 pounds 50 times per day. Occasionally required to lift 150 pounds (about once a week).

Work will typically occur in all types of weather and around significant construction equipment with exposure to dirt, grease, oils, etc.

Walking over various types of terrain is required such as low-lying swampy areas to mountainous, rugged terrain. Significant time spent bending or kneeling during each day.

Most drilling operations require out of town stays This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Compensation Range:

$45,218.00 - $51,384.00 STV offers the following benefits
