Martines Bros Construction is a growing underground utility contractor specializing in fiber optic, utility, and directional drilling projects. Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Directional Driller to operate a Vermeer D20x22 Navigator . The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and capable of completing bores efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Qualifications Required:
Minimum 1-2 years of directional drilling experience operating HDD equipment. Experience operating a Vermeer D20x22 or similar directional drill preferred. Knowledge of underground utility construction and utility locating practices. Ability to read bore plans and job specifications. Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus). Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Willingness to travel for projects as needed. Responsibilities Safely operate a Vermeer D20x22 directional drill. Complete bores for fiber optic, conduit, water, and utility installations. Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Work closely with the locator and ground crew to complete projects safely and efficiently. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
