Job Description

Agri Industries, Inc. is looking for a dependable, hardworking Bore Machine / Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) Operator / Laborer to join our team. This is a hands-on field position responsible for operating bore and HDD equipment while assisting the crew with underground utility installation, construction, and related field work.
What You'll Do:
Operate horizontal directional drilling (HDD) equipment safely and efficiently Perform pilot bores, reaming, and product pullback Read and follow bore plans, utility markings, and jobsite layouts Monitor bore path, depth, pitch, and drilling conditions Assist with locating and tracking the drill head Mix and monitor drilling fluids as required Assist with equipment setup, positioning, teardown, transportation, and loading/unloading Perform daily equipment inspections, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting Install and handle underground pipe, conduit, hoses, tools, and related materials Locate and work safely around existing underground utilities Assist with excavation, potholing, digging, trenching, backfilling, and site cleanup as needed Maintain a clean and safe jobsite Communicate with supervisors and crew members throughout drilling operations Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements and supervisor instructions Work outdoors in varying weather and ground conditions Travel to jobsites as needed
What We're Looking For:
Previous bore machine and/or horizontal directional drilling experience strongly preferred Construction, underground utility, excavation, or similar field experience is a plus Knowledge of underground utility construction and safe digging practices Ability to understand utility markings, bore plans, and jobsite layouts Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair basic equipment issues Comfortable performing physical labor in addition to operating equipment Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and a dependable work ethic Ability to work effectively as part of a crew Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record CDL is a plus Must be able to pass required pre-employment screening Why Agri Industries?
