Job Description

This position is responsible for operating machines and performing PM's within the drill department (ie. Hitachi, Excellons, etc.)
Duties/Responsibilities:
Works closely with the Process Engineers . Works safely to prevent injuries and follows all standard operating procedures and company safety regulations. Works as part of a team to move product and assist other operators. Notifies group leader, engineer or supervisor of any nonconformance product / tools. Involvement with continuous improvement activities as needed. May be required to cross train in other departments. This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and team-building skills. Able to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for long periods up to eight or more hours at a time. Positive interaction between co-workers and management. Quality improvements experience a plus (ie. TQM or Six Sigma) Previous drill experience preferred.
