In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for meticulously finishing optical lenses, ensuring they meet precise specifications through drilling, tinting, and quality control procedures.
THIS POSITION IS TO WORK IN THE FINISH AREA. SPECIFIC DUTIES FOR THIS POSITION ARE
Tinter:
Accurately tint all lenses going through the tinting department. •
Drill:
Drill and mount lenses into specialty frames. •
Roll and Polish:
Smooth sharp edges and gloss edges by using tools and machinery provided. •
Beveler:
Utilize the bevel wheel to remove the sharp edges of the lens. •
Inspection :
Inspect lenses and frames to ensure that they are cosmetically accurate.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous lens drilling and tinting experience and/or training preferred.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High School education or equivalent preferred. Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret, goals, objectives, policies and procedures. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. This posting is for an existing vacancy within our business.
