Position Overview:

As a Geo-technician Sampler, you will work on-site for one of our valued clients, playing a critical role in handling drill core and RC samples. This position requires precision, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety while performing tasks that support geological analysis. Key Responsibilities Collect, label, and handle drill samples in accordance with established sampling procedures. Ensure samples are accurately identified, documented, organized, and prepared for delivery to designated receiving facilities. Maintain sample tracking records, logs, and documentation with a high degree of accuracy. Record sample locations, drill hole information, and relevant field observations. Prepare sample bags, labels, and supporting documentation for drilling programs. Conduct sample drop-off activities and maintain proper sample chain of custody. Work closely with drilling, operations, engineering, and geology personnel to support production and ore control objectives. Operate company vehicles safely and comply with site traffic management requirements. Maintain a safe work environment by following SOPs, completing daily risk assessments, using required PPE, and exercising stop-work authority when necessary. Complete daily reports, timesheets, and other required documentation accurately and on time. Perform additional duties as assigned in support of drilling and exploration activities. Requirements Experience with core cutting, sampling, or other geological sample preparation activities preferred. Ability to safely lift, carry, and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs in field and mine-site environments. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and sample integrity. Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and within a team setting. Experience with map reading, GPS navigation, and off-road driving preferred. Coursework or experience in geology, earth sciences, mining, or a related field preferred. Valid driver's license with a safe driving record required. Current MSHA Surface Metal/Non-Metal certification required. What We Offer Competitive pay (DOE) and per diem. PPE allowance.
