Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking energetic and skilled Raisebore Drillers to join our dynamic team and lead the execution of complex underground drilling projects. In this role, you will operate heavy equipment, including specialized raisebore drills, to create precise vertical or inclined shafts for various construction and mining applications. Your mechanical expertise and safety awareness will ensure efficient project completion while maintaining compliance with all MSHA standards. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as raisebore drills, forklifts, and other construction machinery with precision and safety. Set up and prepare drilling sites, ensuring all safety protocols are followed in accordance with MSHA regulations. Execute raisebore drilling operations to create vertical shafts or inclines for pipelines, tunnels, or other underground infrastructure. Conduct routine mechanical inspections of drilling equipment and perform basic maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with project managers and team members to plan drilling sequences and troubleshoot technical issues promptly. Maintain detailed records of drilling activities, equipment usage, safety checks, and site conditions for project documentation. Adhere strictly to construction site safety standards, including proper handling of hazardous materials like oil & gas products and tankers. Experience Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as skid-steer, forklifts on construction or industrial sites. Hands-on experience with pipeline installation or underground construction projects is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge related to drill rigs, hydraulic systems, and general construction machinery maintenance. Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques and underground shaft creation using raiseboring methods. Knowledge of MSHA safety standards applicable to construction sites involving heavy equipment operation and underground work.
Pay:
$23.00 - $30.00 per hour
