This role will lead the field crew on underground utility construction projects. In This role you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of trenchers, mini excavators, skid steers, cable plows, directional drilling equipment, including Vermeer 24x40 or similar rigs. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who takes ownership of the jobsite, leads by example, is willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done, and thrives in a fast-paced, outdoor work environment.
Requirements:
Minium of two years experience operating light to medium duty equipment including backhoes, mini excavators, skid steers, and trenchers. Trench work Finish Grading utilizing CAT 305 or similar machine Hand digging Heavy lifting Basic mechanical repairs Traffic control Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times Comprehending blue prints
Valid Driver's License Preferred:
Class A CDL Horizontal boring utilizing equipment such as Vermeer 24x40 directional drill, pneumatic missile, air spade, or similar equipment Locating Drill Head with Falcon F2,F5, or similar Equipment Locate under ground Utilities With Vivax Metreotech or Similar Line Locating Equipment Operation of medium to large size vibratory plows Electrical construction Underground fiber optic main line construction
