We are currently seeking 3 to 5 dependable Rock Scalers / High Wall Specialists to join our growing team. We offer an intense, high-reward environment. Compensation & Benefits Standard Hourly Rate:

$34.00

•$45.00 / hour (Based on skill set)

Overtime Hourly Rate:

$51.00

•$67.50 / hour

Expected Annual Earnings:

$112,300

•$155,000

Per Diem:

Starts at $90.00 per work day (Eligible for rapid increases based on performance)

Job Schedule & Environment Hours:

45 to 60 hours per week (Hours vary daily).

Shifts:

Up to 12-hour workdays.

Setting:

Outdoors in all weather elements (rain, wind, snow, heat, and sun). Requires working comfortably at extreme heights or underground. Primary Responsibilities This is a high-intensity, physically demanding construction position. Daily duties include, but are not limited to: Building and installing rock bolts and dowels. Mixing grout and shooting shotcrete. Executing blasting operations utilizing C4 explosives. Manually moving heavy materials, including bags of cement. Performing rock scaling and drilling operations. Operating heavy machinery and specialized stabilization equipment. Working safely in high-risk zones around heavy equipment and active ropes.

Position Requirements Qualifications:

Experience:

A solid background in construction is required.

Reliability:

A proven history of dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Capability:

Ability to handle heavy labor and high-intensity tasks daily. Preferred Skills (Move to the front of the list): Previous professional rope work or high-angle climbing experience. Shotcrete application experience. 3-5 years of drilling experience. 3-5 years operating a Top Hammer or Down-the-Hole (DTH) drill. Soil nail construction , wall building, and concrete work. 3-5 years operating heavy equipment (Excavators, telehandlers, loaders). Railroad construction experience involving Hi-Rail equipment .
