We are seeking a skilled and reliable Directional Drilling Ground Hand to join our team. As a Directional Drilling Ground Hand, you will play a crucial role in supporting the directional drilling operations by operating heavy equipment and assisting with various tasks on the job site. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.Responsibilities:
- Safely operate/drive company vehicles
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, hydro vacs, water trucks, and dump trucks
- Assist with horizontal drilling operations
- Dig trenches and excavate areas as needed
- Provide support to the directional drilling crew by performing tasks such as setting up equipment, maintaining tools, and ensuring a safe work environment
- Assist with mechanical work and troubleshooting when necessary
Skills:
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment including excavators, water trucks, and dump trucks
- Experience with horizontal drilling techniques is highly desired
- Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to dig trenches and perform excavation work
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a construction or drilling environment
