DRILLER/OPERATOR

Driller/Operator - Job Description Kelley Dewatering & Construction Company (KDCC) is a solutions‑driven contractor specializing in reliable dewatering systems and responsive field support. Job Summary The Driller/Operator is responsible for operating drilling equipment used in the installation of dewatering wells and groundwater control systems. Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate drilling rigs and equipment for well installation
• Lead setup, installation, removal, and teardown of drilling and dewatering systems
• Direct laborers during drilling operations
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs
• Monitor drilling conditions and adjust operations as needed
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation
• Ensure proper handling of pumps, hoses, generators, and related equipment
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, crew, and clients
• Follow all KDCC and regulatory safety and environmental standards Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card
• Prior drilling experience required (dewatering preferred)
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to work long hours and in varying weather conditions Specific Expectations
