We're looking for someone who wants to grow with our company with lots of potential for advancement. Responsibilities Safely operate drill equipment to install underground telecommunication cables and infrastructure Determine bore path and locate utilities Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of drilling machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to plan drilling activities and adhere to project timelines Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues promptly and effectively Assist with the setup and operation of auxiliary construction machinery such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, water trucks, graders, dump trucks, tankers, and paving equipment as needed Follow safety protocols rigorously to maintain a secure work environment for all personnel on-site Maintain detailed records of drilling operations, including depth measurements, equipment usage, and site conditions Ensure compliance with environmental regulations during drilling processes and waste management Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, or paving machinery Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on drilling and construction equipment Valid driver's license; experience with commercial driving is highly desirable Prior construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety standards and operational procedures Knowledge of horizontal drilling techniques; willingness to learn is essential Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting
