Drill Press Opr &Set 1st shift (DSC)

Description Job Description:

Set up and operate all types of single or multiple spindle drill presses to drill, countersink, spot face, back spot face, tapping, counterbore and chamfer. Layout work from drawings and perform operations with or without drill jigs. May be required to set up jobs and check first pieces for lower grade Drill Press Operators.

Tools & Equipment Used:

All makes and types of drill presses and attachments, machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments

Qualifications Experience & Other Requirements:

Requires the use of fairly complicated drawings, shop mathematics and a variety of precision measuring instruments with trade knowledge of drill presses. One (1) to three (3) years of experience on drill presses.
