Midland, TX 79706

Pay Rate:

$23.44/hour

Per Diem:

$30/day

Schedule:

14 days on / 14 days off

Experience:

5+ years

Education/Certification:

Mud School (preferred) Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of drilling fluids experience . Experience managing, testing, and optimizing drilling fluid systems. Strong understanding of drilling fluid properties and chemical additives. Ability to perform calculations and adjust fluid formulations based on well conditions. Experience with inventory management and material coordination. Strong reporting and documentation skills. Ability to work safely in a rig-site environment. Preferred Mud School training/certification. Experience working directly with company representatives and drilling engineers. Strong customer service and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Ensure job deliverables are accurate and completed on time. Execute drilling fluids service delivery at the wellsite. Test and monitor drilling fluid properties, including viscosity, density, and mud weight . Calculate and direct chemical additive mixes based on changing well conditions. Optimize liquid chemical mixtures to support wellbore stability, formation pressure control, and equipment cooling/lubrication. Manage onsite drilling fluid product inventory and coordinate material deliveries. Complete daily mud reports and accurately record operational data. Maintain compliance with company, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Participate in job risk analysis, wellsite inspections, self-assessments, and continuous improvement programs. Participate in Service Quality Meetings and support performance improvement action plans. Develop and maintain customer relationships to promote company products and services. Participate in HSE and quality initiatives. Wear required PPE and follow all HSE policies. Maintain required safety training. "RA01"
