We are seeking experienced, safety-focused Rig Crews (Drillers, Derricks, Motors & Floors) to join our drilling operations in the Midland/Odessa, Texas area. The Rig Crew is responsible for safely operating the drilling rig, monitoring drilling operations, and ensuring work is performed efficiently and in accordance with Advanced Energy LLC policies, customer requirements, and applicable safety procedures. Basic Job Duties & Responsibilities may include the following: Safely operate the drilling rig and associated drilling equipment. Assist with rig-up and rig-down of the drilling rig and associated equipment. Assist other crew members during drilling and tripping operations. Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas. Maintain good housekeeping on the rig floor, pipe racks, mud pits, and surrounding work areas. Keep living quarters and common areas clean and orderly. Participate in JSAs, safety meetings, inspections, emergency drills, and required company training. Identify and immediately report unsafe conditions, equipment problems, and potential hazards. Assist with mentoring and training new employees when qualified to do so. Assist other crew members and company personnel with tasks within the employee's training and capabilities. Direct, supervise, and take direction during drilling operations according to job duty assigned. Perform drilling, tripping pipe, running casing, connections, and other rig operations safely and efficiently. Recognize changes in well conditions and immediately respond to potential well-control situations. Maintain proper hole fill and monitor the well during trips and other critical operations. Ensure proper procedures are followed during connections, trips, rig-up, rig-down, and casing operations. Maintain effective communication with company representatives and other personnel on location. Complete required drilling, safety, and operational documentation accurately and on time. Enforce Advanced Energy LLC safety policies, PPE requirements, and customer safety requirements. All job specific duties and responsibilities will be discussed during interview process. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of 1-2 years of drilling rig experience preferred. Previous experience working on drilling rigs in the Permian Basin is a plus. Strong knowledge of drilling operations, tripping procedures, drilling equipment, and well-control practices. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and other crew members. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Requirements Must always work safely and efficiently. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be willing and able to work 12-hour shifts . Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays according to the assigned rig schedule. Must be dependable and able to work effectively as part of a drilling crew. Must be able to perform physically demanding work in outdoor oilfield conditions. Must be able to recognize changing well conditions and respond appropriately. Must comply with Advanced Energy LLC and customer drug, alcohol, safety, and PPE requirements. Must demonstrate strong leadership, dependability, communication, and decision-making skills. Must be willing to participate in required company safety and operational training. Preferred Qualifications Safeland or equivalent oilfield safety orientation is preferred but not necessary. Experience on drilling rig in West Texas and Southeast New Mexico is preferred. Experience with rig moves, skidding operations, and casing operations is preferred.
