This position requires a strong understanding of MWD operations, drilling practices, downhole telemetry, survey quality control, and real-time troubleshooting. Command Center Specialists must be capable of monitoring multiple active drilling rigs simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy, communication, and situational awareness. The ideal candidate is dependable, technically knowledgeable, highly focused, and capable of making sound decisions under pressure. This role serves as a critical communication and technical support link between field personnel, Directional Drillers, customers, and True Shot operations. Housing is provided for those who live out of town Primary Responsibilities Monitor multiple active drilling rigs and MWD operations simultaneously from the True Shot Command Center. Monitor real-time MWD telemetry, drilling parameters, surveys, gamma data, and tool performance. Perform quality control of MWD surveys and verify survey data prior to distribution. Identify abnormal survey data, telemetry issues, decoding problems, and potential tool-related concerns. Monitor pulse quality, signal strength, synchronization, and overall telemetry performance. Recognize changes in drilling conditions or surface parameters that may affect MWD performance. Troubleshoot MWD communication, telemetry, software, hardware, and network connectivity issues. Work directly with MWD field personnel and Directional Drillers to troubleshoot operational issues. Escalate potential tool failures, survey concerns, or operational issues when appropriate. Maintain accurate and detailed operational notes, timelines, and incident documentation. Generate and distribute required MWD reports, surveys, logs, and other customer deliverables. Ensure required daily and end-of-well documentation is accurate and completed in a timely manner. Maintain clear communication during shift changes and provide complete handovers to incoming Command Center personnel. Follow True Shot procedures, customer requirements, and established MWD operational standards. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling customer and operational information. Technical Knowledge & Skills Candidates should have knowledge and practical understanding of: Measurement While Drilling (MWD) operations Directional drilling operations and terminology MWD telemetry and mud-pulse systems Survey acquisition and survey quality control Inclination, azimuth, gravity, magnetic field, and dip-angle measurements Gamma-ray logging and interpretation Downhole shock and vibration monitoring Drilling parameters including flow rate, standpipe pressure, RPM, WOB, and pump performance Well plans and directional drilling profiles MWD decoding and synchronization Surface equipment and data acquisition systems Network and remote connectivity troubleshooting Real-time drilling data and well-site information Required Qualifications Previous MWD experience or equivalent MWD technical knowledge. Strong understanding of drilling operations and rig practices. Advanced computer skills and ability to work efficiently across multiple software platforms. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Ability to monitor and manage multiple active jobs simultaneously. Ability to recognize abnormal MWD data and determine when additional investigation or escalation is required. Strong arithmetic, data-entry, and record-keeping skills. Ability to read and interpret well plans, surveys, logs, and drilling information. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate technical or potentially complex situations clearly and professionally. Ability to make effective recommendations during troubleshooting situations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Ability to remain focused and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Dependable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts. Computer & Software Competency Command Center Specialists must be comfortable operating multiple computer systems and applications simultaneously. Experience with MWD, directional drilling, remote-access, reporting, and office software is preferred.

Decision-Making — Evaluates available information and makes appropriate recommendations while knowing when an issue should be escalated. Teamwork — Works effectively with field personnel, Command Center teammates, operations, and management to support safe and successful drilling operations. Performance Expectations A successful MWD Command Center Specialist is expected to: Know the current status of assigned rigs. Maintain accurate and timely MWD data. Identify potential problems early. Respond quickly to operational issues. Document significant events and troubleshooting accurately. Communicate important information promptly. Follow established True Shot procedures and customer requirements. Provide complete and accurate shift handovers. Maintain professionalism during high-pressure situations. Take ownership of assigned responsibilities from the beginning of the shift through turnover. Work Environment This is an operations based position performed from the True Shot Command Center. The position requires extended computer use and continuous monitoring of multiple active drilling operations. Because drilling operations occur 24 hours a day, employees' / Contract hands must be prepared to work assigned day or night shifts, weekends, and holidays. 14/7 rotation True Shot Standards True Shot
