The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drill operation, construction site experience, and mechanical knowledge. This role involves operating various drilling and heavy machinery to support construction/drop bury projects, including horizontal drilling and vac trucks. We specialize in smaller drills, JT5 and JT9's. The Driller will play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of all on site tasks while maintaining safety standards across job sites. This is NOT a sit on the drill and only drill job, you will be part of a small team that require digging and stie clean up. Duties Operate drilling equipment such as horizontal drills and other pieces of equipment such and mini excavators and vac trucks. Assist with site preparation and ensure proper setup of drilling operations. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance. Follow project specifications and safety protocols during all operations. Coordinate with project managers and other team members to execute tasks efficiently. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and operational data. Adhere to all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment on-site. Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as mini excavators, vac trucks, reel carrier and horizontal drills. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting. Construction site experience with a focus on safety and efficiency. Commercial driving experience is preferred for operating various vehicles on-site. Candidates should possess strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to work in physically demanding environments, and a commitment to safety standards on construction sites. Must have valid state issued DL, with no more than one traffic violation in a 36-month period. No DUI or Reckless driving citations
