https://rsimsconstruction.com/careers/ Drillers/Locators Job Duties Safely drive equipment to jobsite Set up and operation of horizontal directional drill Walk bore path with crew foreman verifying all utility crossings are spotted Assist with potholing when necessary Drill out following predetermined bore path Pull back proper pipe or conduit Clean, check fluid levels, and conduct visual inspection of vehicle and equipment daily Maintain equipment and fill out daily documentation Immediately report equipment, facility, or property damage to crew foreman Experience Class A CDL required with a clean driving record Previous experience in directional drilling is required Experienced in Vermeer controls and Digitrak locating equipment Knowledge of proper drilling techniques and procedures Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications Strong problem-solving skills Must be willing to travel
