As a Spooler Trainee, you will be responsible for handling and operating various types of spooling equipment in the Oil & Gas Industry. You will work closely with experienced spoolers to learn the necessary skills and techniques required for the job. This is a job that will require 40+ hours and travel. MUST have or retain Class A or B CDL.

Life Insurance Responsibilities:

• Learn and understand the operation of spooling equipment, including setup, calibration, and maintenance
• Assist experienced spoolers in the loading and unloading of materials onto spools
• Monitor the spooling process and ensure that it is running smoothly and efficiently
• Identify and troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions with the spooling equipment
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
• Keep accurate records of the spooling process, including information such as spool length, tension, and speed
• Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the spooling area

Requirements:

• Must have or be willing to obtain a Class A CDL (will train the right candidate)
• Ability to drive manual transmission
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials or equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction
• Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, when required
