In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing drywall surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction plans, safety regulations, and drywall techniques to ensure high-quality results. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to diverse projects while adhering to safety standards and project timelines. Contractors are working minimum of 56 Hours Weekly Duties Measure, cut, and install drywall panels according to construction plans and specifications Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction documents accurately Apply drywall mudding, taping, texturing, and finishing techniques to achieve smooth surfaces Repair damaged drywall or surfaces affected by water damage or other issues Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during installation and finishing processes Collaborate with framing carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and other trades to coordinate work Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocols at all times Perform metal stud framing, fixture installation, door hanging, and trim carpentry as needed Assist with restoration projects including mold remediation and water damage restoration Support additional tasks such as flooring installation, tile laying, stucco application, or plastering when required Qualifications Proven experience in drywall installation, repair, and texturing within the construction industry Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols Proficiency with hand tools such as tape measures, utility knives, screw guns; experience with power tools preferred Strong understanding of drywall taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing techniques Experience with metal stud framing, fixture installation, trim carpentry, and related trades is advantageous Ability to work effectively on construction sites with diverse teams in fast-paced environments Additional skills in plastering, stucco application, flooring installation or water damage restoration are a plus Please call 865-851-8054 to schedule interview with
