In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, repairing, and restoring drywall surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet industry standards. Duties Inspect drywall surfaces for damage, water stains, cracks, or imperfections requiring repair or repainting Prepare surfaces by sanding, patching holes, applying drywall mudding, and texturing to ensure smooth finishes Use hand tools and power tools to remove damaged drywall sections and install new drywall panels in accordance with construction plans and schematics Apply primer, paint, and finishing coats using airless paint spraying techniques or traditional brushes and rollers to achieve flawless results Follow safety protocols rigorously by adhering to construction workplace safety regulations during all phases of repair and painting work Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute repairs and painting tasks Perform additional restoration tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, or masonry work as needed to complete comprehensive repairs Experience Proven experience in drywall installation, drywall mudding, taping, texturing, and painting within a construction or restoration environment Familiarity with construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings or schematics Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools including airless paint sprayers Experience with water damage restoration, mold remediation, plastering, stucco application, tile laying or flooring installation is a plus Background in carpentry (including trim carpentry and door hanging), plumbing (including construction plumbing), masonry or remodeling projects enhances your versatility Prior work on construction sites demonstrating adherence to safety protocols and quality standards is highly valued Join us if you're eager to bring your craftsmanship skills into a vibrant team dedicated to excellence!
