Responsibilities The handyman provides a variety of services to close out projects and address warranty issues The handyman makes repairs in a timely fashion within budget Must be able to proactively identify potential issues with the property Able to work independently with little to no supervision Can handle multiple projects per day as designated by superintendents and schedulers Ability to address issues with carpentry, drywall, electrical, flooring, kitchen and bath remodeling, painting, plumbing, windows, doors and tile repairs Prioritizes and documents repairs per policy and standard operating procedure Ability operate a motor vehicle Ability to move and ascend/descend areas within the property Ability to effectively communicate with other employees both in person, written and via electronic channels Candidates must have your own tools This position has no supervisory responsibilities While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, move, operate with hands and arms, and lift up to 50 pounds at times The incumbent performs other job-related duties as assigned and required
