Variable hours, on-call availability required The opportunity We're growing our reconstruction division and need a seasoned technician who can walk onto a job site that's just come through mitigation and take full ownership — from day one through final walk-through. This isn't an entry-level helper position. We need someone who has done the work, knows the trade, and can execute independently on complex residential and commercial reconstruction projects. About us Royalty Renovation, operating under Steamy Concepts and Frontier Services Group, is a full-service property restoration and reconstruction company based in Tucson. We handle water, fire, and storm damage claims from emergency mitigation straight through to finished reconstruction. Our work directly affects families and business owners at some of the hardest moments of their lives — which means craftsmanship and reliability aren't optional, they're the job. What you'll own A year from now, the right person in this role will have a track record of reconstruction projects completed on schedule, within scope, and without rework. You'll be the technical anchor on your jobs — coordinating your own work, flagging scope changes immediately, and finishing at a standard that satisfies both the homeowner and the insurance adjuster. You'll work closely with our project coordinators and mitigation team to ensure seamless handoffs from water/fire mitigation into rebuild. Day-to-day responsibilities Execute full-scope reconstruction across drywall and framing, flooring, painting, and cabinetry/millwork on residential and commercial loss jobs Read and interpret project scopes, estimates (Xactimate), and floor plans to plan and execute work accurately Maintain job site safety, cleanliness, and professionalism — you are in a client's home or business Document progress, note scope deviations, and communicate proactively with the project coordinator on any changes Coordinate with subcontractors where applicable and verify that work meets quality standards Operate and maintain your personal tools and any company-provided equipment with care Be available for variable scheduling and extended hours when project timelines or emergency conditions require it What we're looking for

Required:

5+ years of hands-on construction or reconstruction experience — you can frame, hang drywall, install flooring, paint, and finish trim without supervision Experience in water, fire, or mold restoration reconstruction (insurance claim work strongly preferred) Ownership of your own full set of trade tools — this is a firm requirement Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to perform sustained physical labor: lifting 50+ lbs, working on knees, overhead, and in confined spaces Willingness to work extended hours and variable schedules including weekends when projects demand it Strong communication skills — you'll interact directly with homeowners, adjusters, and project managers

Preferred:

Familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating platforms Experience reading and working from insurance scope-of-loss documents IICRC certification in any discipline Bilingual (English/Spanish) — a real asset on Tucson job sites Royalty Renovation / Steamy Concepts is an equal opportunity employer.
