We are looking for a well-rounded, dependable tradesperson who can be assigned to a reconstruction project and complete the majority of the work independently from start to finish. Most projects involve restoring homes after water damage, so strong experience with interior finishing trades is essential.

Responsibilities Typical work includes:

Drywall installation, patching, finishing, and texture matching Interior painting and touch-ups Insulation installation Flooring installation and repairs Baseboards, casing, trim, and other finish carpentry Cabinet installation and repairs Minor plumbing work, including fixture installation Doors and hardware Demolition and reconstruction related to water-damage repairs Punch-list and final finish work Maintaining a clean and professional jobsite Communicating with the Project Manager regarding progress, materials, and any additional work needed What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a true journeyman-level remodeling/reconstruction professional who is comfortable working independently and solving problems in occupied residential properties.

Requirements:

Strong remodeling, reconstruction, or restoration experience Experience with multiple finishing trades Ability to complete jobs independently with limited supervision Must have your own truck or reliable work vehicle Must have your own professional tools Ability to read and follow scopes of work Good attention to detail and quality workmanship Professional appearance and communication with homeowners Reliable and able to manage multiple small reconstruction projects Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Experience with insurance restoration and water-damage reconstruction is strongly preferred. About the Work Our projects primarily involve residential properties that have experienced water damage. Once mitigation and demolition are completed, our reconstruction team restores the affected areas to their pre-loss condition. We need someone who can walk into a project, understand the scope, determine what materials and work are needed, and professionally complete the reconstruction with minimal supervision. This is a great opportunity for an experienced remodeling or restoration journeyman who takes pride in quality work and wants consistent reconstruction projects with an established general contractor.
