Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Drywall Hanger/Taper to support commercial and residential construction projects. This position is responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall while maintaining high standards for quality and jobsite safety. Responsibilities Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall panels on walls and ceilings. Secure drywall to wood or metal framing. Apply joint tape, joint compound, and finishing coats. Sand and smooth finished surfaces to prepare them for paint. Install corner bead and finish inside and outside corners. Repair damaged drywall, cracks, holes, and surface imperfections. Read measurements, layouts, and basic construction plans. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all OSHA and jobsite safety requirements. Coordinate effectively with supervisors and other trades. Requirements Previous professional experience with drywall hanging and taping. Ability to complete drywall work from installation through final finish. Experience working with hand tools, power tools, drywall lifts, and stilts when required. Must provide basic drywall tools, including a drywall screw gun, cutout tool, utility knife, T-square, measuring tape, rasp, taping knives, mud pan, and sanding tools. Must have required PPE, including a hard hat, safety vest, work boots, gloves, safety glasses, and an N95 mask or respirator. Ability to lift and carry drywall materials and perform physically demanding work. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance. Ability to work independently and as part of a construction crew. Commercial construction experience is preferred.
