Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Metal Framer/Drywall Hanger to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing metal framing, drywall, and related materials on commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life by ensuring precise measurements, proper alignment, and secure fastening of framing and drywall components. Responsibilities Install metal stud framing, metal building components, and support structures according to blueprints and technical drawings. Hang drywall panels with precision, ensuring proper alignment, fastening, and finishing for a smooth surface ready for painting or further finishing. Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately execute framing and drywall tasks. Use hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, levels, tape measures, and welding equipment to complete installations efficiently. Perform rebar installation, concrete forming support, masonry work, and basic carpentry tasks as needed on construction sites. Conduct dimensional measurements and trim carpentry to ensure all components fit correctly within the project scope. Assist with remodeling projects by applying plastering, woodworking, or other finishing techniques to meet client expectations. Lift heavy materials safely while maintaining proper posture; adhere to safety protocols at all times during construction activities. Skills Proven experience in metal building erection, frame carpentry, drywall hanging, or related construction roles. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for accurate installation. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other construction equipment. Ability to perform dimensional measurements precisely using tape measures or other measuring devices. Skilled in rebar installation, concrete forming support, masonry techniques, welding basics, and plastering applications. Familiarity with construction management practices and safety procedures on active job sites. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
