Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Hanger to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing drywall panels efficiently and accurately to ensure smooth, professional finishes on residential, commercial, or industrial projects. Your expertise will contribute to creating safe, durable, and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. Duties Measure and cut drywall sheets precisely according to project specifications using hand tools and power tools. Install drywall panels on ceilings and walls, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening with screws or nails. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and placement. Apply drywall mudding (joint compound), tape seams, and sand surfaces to achieve smooth finishes suitable for painting or texturing. Perform drywall repairs and patching to restore damaged or deteriorated surfaces efficiently. Execute drywall texturing techniques such as spray or hand-applied finishes to match existing surfaces. Assist with related tasks including metal stud framing, trim carpentry, fixture installation, caulking, and light masonry work as needed. Requirements Proven experience in drywall installation, taping, mudding, repair, or related construction trades. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and understanding of construction plans. Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times. Proficiency with hand tools (trowels, knives), power tools (drills, screw guns), and measuring devices. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocol compliance.
