This role is ideal for a self-motivated HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety in their work, and can adapt to changing business needs. This position offers a flexible part-time schedule of approximately 10-30 hours per week , depending on business needs. Candidates must be flexible with their availability , as work hours may vary from week to week and travel to company locations is required. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded HR professional with strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, employee relations, recruiting, compliance, benefits administration, performance management, and HR operations. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive HR support across all areas of Human Resources. Manage employee relations, coaching, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations. Coordinate recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Assist with employee performance management, disciplinary actions, and documentation. Support benefits administration, leave management, and workers' compensation processes. Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality. Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and employee communications. Partner with managers to provide guidance on HR-related matters and best practices. Assist with training initiatives and employee development programs. Monitor timecards and process payroll on various platforms Recruite, source, and hire qualified candidates for open positions Travel to various company locations as needed to provide onsite HR support. Perform other HR-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience as an HR Generalist or similar role. Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, employment law, compliance requirements, and HR best practices. Experience supporting multiple departments or locations is preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Self-directed with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is a plus. Requirements Availability to work a flexible schedule of 10-30 hours per week , with hours varying based on organizational needs. Willingness to travel to various company locations as needed. Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license. Must provide and maintain a personal laptop suitable for business use. Must have a licensed version of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications. Reliable internet access when/if working remotely.
