Job Description

Position Summary The Reconstruction / Maintenance Technician at Dexcore Restoration is responsible for completing light reconstruction, reset, and finish work following mitigation and restoration projects. This role focuses on detailed, customer-facing tasks that return properties to pre-loss condition, including appliance resets, fixture installation, and cosmetic repairs. The technician plays a key role in delivering high-quality restoration outcomes and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform reconstruction and punch-list work including, but not limited to: Carpentry and framing repairs Cabinetry repair and installation Drywall repair and finishing Painting and surface finishing Stucco and exterior patch repairs Deck coating and concrete finishing Fixture installation (plumbing and electrical, non-licensed scope only) Light welding and metal repair (where applicable ) Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in maintenance, reconstruction, or residential/commercial repair work Strong working knowledge of basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical reset work Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple job sites Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job locations Preferred Qualifications Experience in restoration, reconstruction, or insurance-related repair work Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge related to fixture resets (no journeyman license required) Experience working from scopes, punch lists, or work orders Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces Ability to work indoors in occupied residential and commercial environments Work Environment Active job sites following mitigation or reconstruction work Regular interaction with customers in their homes or businesses Occasional after-hours or extended workdays based on project needs Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience and skill level Health, dental, and vision insurance options Paid time off and holidays Mileage reimbursement (if applicable) Opportunities for training and career advancement within
