Job Description

You will assist in repair and maintenance operations, including but not limited to mobile home rehabs, mobile home installs, landscaping and various other tasks. Must have experience in painting, flooring install, plumbing, light electrical, drywall, and basic construction. The ideal candidate will have years of hands on experience, and will have learned from the ground up. Multitasking is a must. An eye on detail and organization is critical. This job is located in Watsonville, Ca. Must have own basic construction tools and reliable transportation. Working knowledge of building construction and rehabilitation techniques and general contracting and construction project management. Ability to priority projects as the arise Physical demand level of 50lbs or more in order to lift/carry/move during 8-hour shift Additional physical demands include but not limited to pushing, pulling, reach at/below/above shoulder level, standing, walking, and stooping for up to 8-hour shift Interior painting (walls and cabinetry) Assistance in moving heavy objects (large appliances) Doing demolition (e.g., removing porches) Assisting with unit rehab and turnover (e.g., cleaning out coaches/yards, cleaning out storage sheds, rehabbing yards) Basic mathematical skills include the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and compute percentages with accuracy Good oral communication skills Planning and organizing skills, adaptability/flexibility, problem-solving and decision-making skills Good written communication skills Ability to deal with co-workers, clients, outside agencies and contractors using courtesy, tact, and good judgment Ability to develop effective working relationships Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail High stress tolerance in order to meet corporate set deadlines for completion Duties are subject to change per need of "the Company"
