Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw drywall installations into smooth, polished surfaces ready for painting, texturing, or finishing. Your expertise will ensure high-quality results that meet safety standards and project specifications. Duties Finish drywall surfaces by sanding, mudding, taping, and texturing to achieve a seamless appearance aligned with project specifications Repair damaged drywall or existing finishes using appropriate techniques such as patching, sanding, and refinishing Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute drywall installation and finishing tasks Use hand tools and power tools—including taping knives, sanders, drills, and saws—to perform installation and finishing work efficiently Coordinate with carpenters, plasterers, and other trades to ensure proper framing, metal stud installation, and fixture mounting before finishing processes begin Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for all team members Assist in drywall texturing and decorative finishes such as stucco or specialized coatings as needed for project requirements Requirements Proven experience in drywall installation, mudding, taping, texturing, and repair with a strong understanding of construction site workflows Ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately Knowledge of construction estimating processes and familiarity with building codes related to drywall finishing Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools commonly used in drywall finishing and related trades Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and commitment to following safety protocols at all times Experience with metal stud framing, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying or related trades is a plus Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics effectively Construction site experience including remodeling projects or restoration industry work is highly desirable Additional skills such as plumbing (including water damage restoration), masonry, painting (including airless paint spraying), fixture installation or mold remediation are advantageous Join us in delivering top-tier craftsmanship on every project!
