Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Drywall Hanger to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing drywall panels efficiently and accurately across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help create smooth, durable wall surfaces that meet high-quality standards, ensuring client satisfaction and project success. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and hang drywall panels according to construction plans and specifications Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure precise installation Use hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, and taping knives to install drywall securely Apply drywall mudding, taping, texturing, and finishing techniques to achieve seamless surfaces Install metal stud framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, and fixture mounting as needed Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocols to maintain a secure environment Conduct drywall repairs and restoration work including water damage remediation and mold remediation when required Assist with other related tasks such as caulking, stucco application, flooring installation, tile laying, and plastering to support project completion Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on drywall installation and finishing processes Familiarity with reading construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings Knowledge of drywall texturing techniques and drywall taping methods Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in drywall hanging and finishing Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols Experience in related fields such as framing carpentry, remodeling, fixture installation or handyman work is a plus Background in restoration industry work including water damage repair or mold remediation is advantageous Join our team to build quality walls that stand the test of time!
