Experienced Home Remodeling Subcontractor - 1099 Handcrafted Homes of Tampa Bay is seeking a reliable, experienced 1099 Home Remodeling Subcontractor for ongoing residential remodeling, repair, and renovation projects. We are looking for a well-rounded tradesperson who can work independently, communicate professionally, and handle a variety of residential remodeling tasks with a strong standard of workmanship. Required Experience Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in residential remodeling, construction, or related trades.

Experience should include:

Carpentry Drywall hanging and installation General home remodeling Interior and exterior painting Tile installation and setting Light plumbing General residential repair, renovation, and troubleshooting Required Qualifications Applicants must: Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant remodeling/construction experience Be tool ready and have most or some of their own commonly used hand and power tools Carry their own applicable business and liability insurance Have reliable transportation to and from job sites Be able to communicate effectively in English with the company, team members, customers, and others on the job site Be dependable, punctual, and professional Be able to work independently with limited supervision Be comfortable working in occupied residential homes Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Take pride in producing neat, professional-quality work What We Are Looking For The ideal subcontractor is someone who is experienced across multiple areas of residential remodeling and can confidently move between different types of work as projects require.

Evaluating repair and remodeling needs Troubleshooting common residential issues Measuring, cutting, installing, repairing, and finishing materials Following project instructions and specifications Communicating about material needs, job progress, and potential problems Completing assigned work efficiently without sacrificing quality Respecting customers, their homes, and their property
