Drywall Installer/Finisher

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Installer/Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall surfaces to create smooth, durable walls and ceilings that meet high-quality standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and restoration projects, ensuring a professional finish that enhances the overall aesthetic and structural integrity of each space. Responsibilities Measure, cut, assemble, and install drywall panels on interior and exterior walls and ceilings according to project specifications and blueprints. Finish drywall joints using taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing techniques to achieve a seamless surface ready for painting or finishing. Repair damaged drywall or existing surfaces by patching, sanding, and refinishing to restore quality and appearance. Apply finishing techniques such as caulking, trim carpentry, plastering, and stucco work to enhance the durability and aesthetics of walls. Collaborate with carpenters, masons, plumbers, and other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure smooth workflow and project coordination. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques including framing carpentry, metal stud framing, and water damage restoration methods. Skilled in remodeling projects, and general handyman tasks. Ability to interpret instructions related to restoration industry standards or renovation projects. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on construction sites while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship.
