Drywall Installer/Finisher The Patch Boys of Kane and Kendall County Saint Charles, IL Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract $15 - $30 an hour 9 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Water damage restoration Construction painting Mold remediation Door hanging Caulking Full Job Description Job Summary The Patch Boys # 1in drywall repair is looking for drywall repair technicians and helpers in Kane and Kendall Counties. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, problem solve, have own tools and reliable transportation. Willing to train the right candidate. Pay is commensurate with experience. Duties Install drywall panels on walls and ceilings using appropriate tools and techniques Finish drywall by taping, mudding, sanding, and applying texture as required Perform repairs on damaged drywall due to water damage or other issues Conduct caulking and sealing of joints to ensure a smooth finish Assist in fixture installation as needed for various projects Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols Provide support in remodeling projects that may include flooring installation, trim carpentry, or masonry work Must have own tools and transportation Qualifications Proven experience in drywall installation and finishing is required Strong knowledge of construction practices including framing, plastering, and metal stud framing Experience with water damage restoration and mold remediation is highly desirable Ability to perform carpentry tasks such as door hanging and trim installation Ability to paint is desirable. Knowledge of tile laying and flooring installation is an asset Strong maintenance person skills across various trades including plumbing, masonry, and remodeling are preferred The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to quality craftsmanship while working efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
