In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality drywall installation, finishing, painting, and framing tasks across various construction projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, ensuring they meet precise specifications and aesthetic standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling to new construction, utilizing your skills in carpentry, finishing, and surface preparation to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Install drywall panels accurately according to blueprints and schematics, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening with hand tools and power tools. Finish drywall surfaces by taping, mudding, sanding, and applying textures to achieve smooth, professional finishes. Execute framing tasks including wall partitions, door openings, window frames, and structural supports using appropriate carpentry techniques. Prepare surfaces through sanding, caulking, priming, and painting to ensure high-quality finishes that meet project specifications. Apply various coatings such as paint or stucco with brushes or spray equipment while maintaining safety standards and quality control. Assist with remodeling projects by installing fixtures, cabinetry, flooring, and other building components as needed. Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely for tasks like concrete forming or masonry work when required on-site. Requirements Proven experience in drywall installation, finishing, framing, painting or related construction trades. Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings for accurate project execution. Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., hammers, screw guns), power tools (e.g., drills, sanders), and safety equipment. Knowledge of construction management principles including estimating and inspection processes. Electrical experience or electrical work knowledge is a plus; familiarity with plumbing or roofing is beneficial but not mandatory. Ability to read technical schematics and perform tasks such as concrete finishing or masonry when necessary. Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations on construction sites.
