Blaster

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Blaster to join our team. As a Blaster, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting or coating by using various blasting techniques. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate blasting equipment to remove paint, rust, and other debris from surfaces
• Prepare surfaces for painting or coating by ensuring they are clean and free of contaminants
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to protect yourself and others while operating the equipment
• Maintain and repair blasting equipment as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and completion of projects
• Adhere to project specifications and timelines
• Keep accurate records of work performed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Blaster or in a similar role is preferred
• Proficient in using various blasting techniques and equipment
• Strong knowledge of stucco, renovation, remodeling, basic math, drywall installation/repair, maintenance person work, schematics reading/interpretation, welding, maintenance, and carpentry
• Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required
