Job Description

Position Overview Capital City Construction and Remediation is seeking a skilled and reliable Remodeling Technician to join our Multi-Family team. This hands-on role supports multi-family remodeling projects, with a strong focus on quality workmanship, efficiency, and coordination across trades. The ideal candidate brings solid remodeling experience along with an apartment maintenance background and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Perform demolition (demo) work safely and efficiently Complete touch-up painting and related surface preparation Install towel bars, fixtures, and other finish hardware Carry out general remodeling tasks across kitchens, bathrooms, and living spaces Install appliances (ranges, dishwashers, refrigerators, washers/dryers, etc.) Perform rough and finished carpentry, including framing, trim, doors, cabinets, caulking, fixture installation, and tiling Coordinate and communicate effectively with subcontractors to ensure smooth project flow and schedule adherence Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Follow all company safety protocols and quality standards Ideal Candidate Qualifications Proven experience in residential remodeling Background in apartment maintenance preferred Strong skills in carpentry (rough and finish), demolition, painting, drywall repair, fixture installation, tile laying, and appliance installation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Physical ability to lift, carry, and perform the full range of construction tasks Strong communication and organizational skills for coordinating with subcontractors and project teams Competitive pay based on experience, steady work with a reputable company focused on quality construction and remediation, and the opportunity to grow within a professional remodeling team.
Pay:
$25.00 - $29.00 per hour
