  • ?️ What You'll Do
  • + •Package and bag finished tortillas•at the end of the production line + •Verify correct packaging materials•throughout the shift + •Confirm tortilla counts•and report inaccuracies to the lead + •Place tortillas neatly into bags•as they exit the counter stacker + •Stage packages for sealing•and ensure seals meet quality standards + •Inspect seals and packaging•and remove defective products + •Verify code dates•on bags and cartons for accuracy + •Use correct cartons•for each product type + •Box and case‑pack products•using inserts when needed + •Assemble and tape boxes•for packaging + •Check box printers•for clear, accurate printed information + •Palletize finished cartons•in the correct orientation + •Ensure expiration codes are visible•on all sides of the pallet + •Apply bar code labels•and wrap pallets with stretch wrap + •Move pallets to the warehouse•for loading + •Stock the packing area•with materials, cartons, and stretch wrap + •Maintain cleanliness•by removing waste and cardboard + •Discard faulty bags•and packaging that doesn't meet standards + •Rotate between tasks•including bagging, boxing, stacking, and palletizing + •Lift up to 50 lbs•repeatedly throughout the shift + •Stand and walk for 8 hours•in a fast‑paced environment + •Report equipment issues•to operators and leads + •Enter production data•accurately into the computer system + •Follow strict food safety rules•including gowning and contamination prevention •?

Essential Skills

  • + •6+ months packaging experience•in production or manufacturing + •Ability to lift 50 lbs•consistently + •Comfort in fast‑paced environments•+ •Comfort working in heat•up to ~100 degrees + •Ability to stand 8 hours•+ •Basic computer skills•for data entry + •Strong attention to detail•for counts, seals, labels, and code dates + •Strict food safety compliance•+ •Clear communication skills•for reporting issues •?

Work Environment

  • You'll work in a
  • busy, hot food production facility
  • near ovens reaching ~100 degrees. Expect continuous movement, lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing for the full shift. Strict hygiene rules apply — full gown, hair net, beard net (if applicable), and hearing protection. No jewelry, makeup, nail polish, or items that could contaminate food. Gluten is present in the air due to flour usage. You'll receive
  • two 30‑minute breaks
  • (one paid, one unpaid) coordinated with the lead.

  • This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eagan, MN.
  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $20.

15 - $20.15/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
