Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install drywall panels accurately according to construction plans and schematics Apply drywall mudding, taping, texturing, and finishing techniques to achieve seamless surfaces Repair or replace damaged drywall sections efficiently while maintaining safety protocols Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure precise installation Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and secure drywall materials Collaborate with carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and other trades to coordinate installation processes Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris in accordance with safety regulations Skills Extensive experience with drywall installation, mudding, taping, texturing, and repair techniques Strong knowledge of construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Proficiency with hand tools such as knives, t-squares, screw guns; and power tools including drills and saws Familiarity with metal stud framing, ceiling grid systems, and plastering methods Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for precise installation work Experience in related trades such as carpentry, framing, masonry or remodeling is a plus Knowledge of water damage restoration, mold remediation and fixture installation enhances versatility Skilled in caulking, trim carpentry, tile laying or stucco work is advantageous Capable of working efficiently on construction sites while maintaining high safety standards Embark on a rewarding career where your craftsmanship makes a visible difference!
