Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming for painting, drywall, or flooring installation. Execute drywall installation including hanging, taping, mudding, and finishing to achieve smooth surfaces ready for painting or texturing. Install framing components such as studs, headers, and partitions according to project specifications. Apply interior and exterior paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and attention to detail. Install various flooring materials including hardwood, laminate, tile, or carpet with accuracy and care. Perform caulking, plastering, stucco application, and fixture installation to complete finishes and ensure durability. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as cutting drywall, framing lumber, or installing trim carpentry elements. Conduct construction inspections to verify work quality aligns with plans and safety standards. Collaborate with project managers on construction management tasks like estimating material needs using Bluebeam software or similar tools. Assist with remodeling projects by coordinating plumbing, electrical work, or hardscape features as needed. Qualifications Proven construction experience with skills in drywall installation, framing, painting, flooring installation, and building finishing. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools essential for precise craftsmanship. Knowledge of construction management practices including estimating and inspection processes. Electrical experience or electrical work knowledge is a plus for integrating fixtures or lighting components. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings; experience with Bluebeam software is advantageous. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills during project execution. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders.
