Responsibilities Assist in the demolition, preparation, and cleanup of renovation sites to ensure safety and efficiency. Perform drywall installation, plastering, caulking, and drywall finishing to achieve smooth, professional surfaces. Install flooring, cabinets, doors, fixtures, trim carpentry elements, and hardware with precision and attention to detail. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks including stucco application, electrical work, plumbing, painting, and hardscape installation. Conduct quality inspections during each phase of remodeling projects to ensure adherence to specifications and standards. Collaborate with team members to manage project timelines using construction management principles; assist with construction estimating when needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Prior experience in construction or remodeling projects is highly preferred; a strong foundation in construction site practices is ideal. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as caulking guns, saws, drills, and measuring devices. Knowledge of building finishing techniques including drywall installation, trim carpentry, flooring installation, and fixture mounting. Electrical experience or basic electrical work skills are a plus; familiarity with plumbing systems is beneficial. Ability to interpret blueprints or technical drawings; experience with construction management software like Bluebeam is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
