Construction Painter

Job Summary We are seeking a versatile and skilled General Laborer - Painter to join our construction and renovation team. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to residential and commercial painting, restoration, general construction work, helping maintain clean and safe job site. The ideal candidate will have experience with hand tools, power tools, and various painting techniques, including airless paint spraying, while demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Is a team player, willingness to develop skill set, is reliable, is able to travel. This position offers opportunities to develop skills across multiple trades such as carpentry, masonry, drywall, and more, supporting diverse projects from remodeling to industrial painting. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting through sanding, scraping, caulking, plastering, and priming. Maintaining a clean job site. Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, airless sprayers, or other equipment. Perform demolition and renovation tasks including trim carpentry, framing, drywall installation, stucco application, and fixture installation. Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other machinery safely and effectively. Support team members in executing construction estimating tasks when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper tool handling procedures. Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards across various projects involving remodeling or industrial painting. Qualifications Proven experience in residential or commercial painting as well as general construction site work. Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools including airless paint sprayers, welding equipment, and masonry tools. Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites including proper handling of tools and materials. Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in confined spaces. Pay:

$16.00 - $22.00 per hour
