Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Installer/Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall surfaces to create smooth, durable walls and ceilings that meet high-quality standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and restoration projects, ensuring safety and precision at every step. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install drywall panels according to construction plans and schematics Apply drywall mud (joint compound) to seams, corners, and fasteners using taping tools and techniques Sand and finish drywall surfaces to achieve a seamless appearance suitable for painting or texturing Repair damaged drywall by patching holes, cracks, or water damage with appropriate materials Read blueprints and technical drawings to interpret specifications for drywall installation and finishing Use hand tools such as knives, trowels, sanders, and power tools including drills and saws safely and efficiently Collaborate with carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and other trades to ensure proper installation of fixtures and framing Skills Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques including metal stud framing and plastering methods Ability to read construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Experience with drywall mudding, taping, texturing, and finishing for a polished look Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools required for drywall work Understanding of related skills such as flooring installation, tile laying, stucco application, or remodeling is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical instructions effectively Join our team if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your skills in a collaborative environment.
